Meetings held the 3rd Wednesday of each month at Clipper City Brewery.
**** READ THIS! IT IS VERY IMPORTANT ****
MARCH MEETING IS SCHEDULED FOR THE 4th WEDNESDAY, MARCH 24th NOT OUR NORMAL MEETING NIGHT SINCE IT IS ST. PATRICK'S DAY
Our April (21st) meeting is shaping up to be a good one. CRABS own Brewer of purposely infected beers will be giving a talk about the yeasts and balance of bacteria's that make these beers so good. We will have Commercial and home brewed versions of Sour Ales to taste and discuss the flavor profiles of the different styles of sours. Members are more than welcome to bring a bottle to share of some thing they may have bought or brewed (and not the Kolsch you brewed last summer and forgot about -although it may work).
I addition to this, I talked to former CRAB-turned Professional brewer Brian 'Stillwater' Strumke of Stillwater Artisanal Ales who is in Belgium wrapping up his first batch of the 'Stillwater Import Series', will be coming by with some of his beers and to discuss his brewing of Sours and Belgian beers of all sorts both professional and with his homebrewed beers.
