1) The Guild 20^th anniversary party is coming up shortly!

·Saturday January 20, 12-4 PM, at Duclaw, 8901 Yellow Brick Rd, Rosedale.

·Your ticket includes unlimited sampling of 16 DuClaw brews, a crowler of the anniversary beer (a kolsch), and a 20^th anniversary sampling glass.

·Homebrew is allowed but cannot be brought into the tap room.

·Food truck(s) will be onsite for food (pay as you go).

·Ping pong, pool table, and corn hole will be available.

·If you have any photos from past club/Guild events, please send them to johnjester.md@gmail.com for a slide show at the party.

·CRABS has the most people signed up of any club.

·Tickets are available – invite friends and family!

2) 2018 dues are due.  $25 for individuals and $40 for families.  Please pay Don in February if you haven’t already.

3) There will be a BJCP class this winter/spring.  It will run on Sunday afternoons from late February or early March to May, probably at Maryland Homebrew.  Dates are not set yet.  Cost will be about $100 per person.  CRABS will get 2 guaranteed slots.  See http://www.mdhomebrewers.com/?page_id=547 for full details.  If you are interested, email Joe at jfo363@verizon.net

4) Registration for the national homebrew competition will be January 23-30.  Go to https://www.homebrewersassociation.org/national-homebrew-competition/ to register.

5) The DC Brewer’s Ball to benefit cystic fibrosis will be held on March 3^rd in Washington DC.  CRABS will pour 6 beers.  See https://www.dcbrewersball.org/ for event details.

6) This month’s competition was session beers.  There were 14 entries.  Winners were:
