1. The CRABS food-beer pairing will be on Sunday May 24, 1:00-6:00 PM at Rob and Lisa Kiernan’s house. More details and sign-up at:
2. HomebrewCon will be held June 19-20 in Asheville NC, with National Homebrew Competition awards being given out on June 18. See https://homebrewersassociation.org/aha-events/homebrewcon/
3. MASHOUT will be held August 13-16 at the same Cumberland location. Registration will open in June. This year’s CRABS food competition will be meatloaf.
4. The Guild summer picnic will be on Saturday June 6, noon-dusk, at Patapsco Valley State Park, Hollofield area, shelter #300. Pot luck food. There will be a hedonistic homebrew contest.
5. If you have beer in the CRABS quad barrel, you are welcome to get your share on Saturday April 18 at noon. Address is 550 Charington Drive, Severna Park. If you can’t make that date, you can give a keg to someone who will be there, or coordinate another date/time.

7. The 10th annual Pints4Paws will be held on Saturday May 30, 2-6 PM (VIP @ 1:00 PM) at the Naval Academy stadium in Annapolis, Taylor Ave, Gate 5. Details/tickets at https://www.facebook.com/share/1786FWxcuf/

8. Big Brew will be on Saturday May 2. Maryland Homebrew will host as usual. You can brew there, or just hang out and eat/drink. You can start brewing as early at 9:00 AM.
9. The Maryland Craft Beer Festival will be held on Saturday May 9 at Carroll Creek Linear Park in Frederick. Info/tickets at https://www.mdcraftbeerfestival.com/
10. Our June competition will be Sapwood Cellars Hedge Trimmer clone. Recipe is forthcoming. Entries should be dropped off a week before the meeting so the Sapwood folks can judge them ahead of time. The meeting date is not set in stone yet. It will probably be on the 24th (some folks will be traveling to HomebrewCon on the 17th).
