1. Last month’s clone competition meeting at Sapwood Cellars went well. We might make this a yearly event.
2. MASHOUT
- August 14-17 at the same Cumberland location.

- Sour hour and brat/fries dinner on Friday.

3. The Katie’s Bridge to Independence event will be on Saturday September 13 starting at 3:00. There will be a live band and plenty of food. So far 10 beers will be served. 4. Black Flag will have another homebrew competition. Submit two bottles and a $5 entry fee by August 1. Winner gets to brew his/her recipe on their system, drink it free, and bring 10 friends for a free beer on release night (sometime this fall). 5. The DC State Fair homebrew contest is coming up. Anyone who lives in DC or a MD/VA county that touches DC is eligible. Register by August 15 at https://www.dcstatefair.org/2025contestsreg/p/homebrew-lh5l4-synpk-kh25c-ljnw2 and drop entries off August 16–23 at Metrobar 640 Rhode Island Ave NE.
6. Anil will be hosting a beer tasting on Saturday August 2. Time TBD. He has lots of beers to share so it is not necessary to bring any. His address was sent via email.
7. Crabs4CRABS will be on Sunday September 21 at Guilford Park in Jessup. Free to all CRABS members. Price for guests is $20.
8. Our own Justin Wilson took both 1st and 2nd place in Bierbath’s homebrew contest (https://brewoff.bierbath.com/).
9. This month’s competition was pale and malty lagers. There were 10 entries. Winners were:
