2. HomebrewCon

Was a lighter turnout than usual, probably due to Covid.

CRABS had tables at Club Night and Social Club.

Next year will be in San Diego.
3. MD State Fair homebrew competition

Register entries by July 31 at http://www.marylandstatefair.com/exhibitors/open-class-farm-garden

Entries must be received on Saturday August 20. This is the only day they will accept entries.

Tom Flavin has offered to hold beer entries for people beforehand and then deliver them on 8/20, but they will need to be delivered to him.

Judging takes place Sunday August 21, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
4. Katie’s Bridge to Independence event

Saturday September 10 in Catonsville.

Homebrews, food, etc.

If you donate a beer, you get in free.

Katie’s Bridge to Independence helps young adults with neuromuscular disease become more independent through academic scholarships and small home adaptions.
5. Zymernauts crab feast

Saturday September 17 at Rockburn Park.

6. Crabs4CRABS will take place on Sunday September 18 at Guilford Park (the usual location).
7. Union Mills Microbrewery festival homebrew competition

Saturday September 24.

Judging to be done on premises in the morning.

Homebrew competition limited to the 5 beer styles released by the Pravda Ukraine Brewery (American Amber Ale, Weissbier, Belgian Golden Strong, Belgian Tripel, and Imperial Stout)

Total entries limited to 50.

8. The Guild holiday party will happen on Saturday December 3 at Arbutus Hall. It will be easier to set up because the place already has tables, chairs, and sodas.
9. If you like jazz, Mike Bodnar has tickets to a jazz event in Rehoboth October 14-15. (Anyone know his email address?)

11. This month’s competition was amber/hoppy. There were 7 entries. Winners were:
